Jumpstart connects our people to our passions. It helps members of the University to find the funding they need to explore the interests and enhance our community through creative, and innovative projects; and it enables alumni and friends of the University to combine a number of gifts to support a project that particularly appeals to them.


Note that we run drop in sessions in Pope A2 every Monday, 3pm-4pm. These are ideal for projects that have started to create a draft project. If you can't make the drop in sessions, contact us at jumpstart@nottingham.ac.uk to set up another time.

(Note that we would not normally publish your project until we have talked through your plans face to face, or via video conference).

What kinds of project are suitable for Jumpstart?

Projects can be about anything – so long as there is clear benefit to University of Nottingham students. Projects will be judged on their goals, their creative or innovative merits, and the level of organisation and commitment demonstrated by you or your team. You will also need to demonstrate that you have a good network you can publicise your fundraising to.
