MUSICALITY NEEDS YOUR HELP TO RAISE FUNDS TO PERFORM OUR PRODUCTION OF ORDINARY DAYS AT THE EDINBURGH FESTIVAL FRINGE 2018!
This August, Musicality are heading up to the Edinburgh fringe festival performing Ordinary Days, an amateur production by arrangement with R&H Theatricals Europe http://www.rnh.com . We need your help to raise money to help cover the production costs to make it a successful show.
WHAT IS ORDINARY DAYS?
Ordinary Days tells the story of four young New Yorkers whose lives intersect as they search for fulfillment, happiness, love and cabs. Through a score of vibrant and memorable songs, their experiences ring startlingly true to life. Ordinary Days is an original musical that will appeal to anyone who's ever struggled to appreciate the simple things in a complex place. With equal doses of humor and poignancy, it celebrates how 8.3 million individual stories combine in unexpected ways to make New York City such a unique and extraordinary home.
Who are MUSICALITY?
Musicality is the University of Nottingham Musical Theatre society. We are a part of the University's Students' Union. We are also currently celebrating our 10th anniversary - that's 10 years of producing completely student-run musicals!
The Edinburgh Fringe production is our third show this year following two wonderful productions of Sister Act (Annual Production 2018) and The Brain from Planet X (Summer Show 2018).
Every year we take a show up to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. This is our fourth year and we are very excited to be taking Ordinary Days with us .
Jason: Curtis Kane, Warren: Paolo Elias, Claire: Ella Crowther, Deb: Mary Bennett
Producers: Rebecca Lillie and Naomi Batley, Director: Grace Lievesley, Musical Director: Matthew Herbert, Assistant Director: Emily Dervey, Assistant Musical Director: Emma Gault
Where will the money go?
The money you kindly donate to this show will go towards our production costs. Being a University society, the money for all of our projects comes from fundraising and ticket sales.
If we hit our full target of £300, we will be able to fund our registration fee to the Edinburgh Fringe! If we manage to get any extra funds, this will go towards our printing costs, props and costume.
