A short summary of THe project
Every year, the Students' Union Music Society on the University of Nottingham's Sutton Bonington Campus hosts at least two concerts during the academic year and are involved in other events on campus such as 'Dining-ins' and Societies Ball. To improve the quality of events and with the society wanting to expand, we really need staging for our events. At the moment we have to borrow staging for each event which is time-consuming and expensive and we believe this will be a very worthy investment for the society.
The society does have some funds to put towards staging, but not enough to meet the target of £4600. We are able to put forward around £2500, but we really need and will appreciate any support to help us raise the full amount!
There are other ways you can support us too - please sign up as a 'helper' and use the social media buttons on this page to share with your networks.
Who are we?
SB Music Society is the largest and one the most active societies on campus, with numerous ensembles and a well equipped music room. As well as annual concerts, we host open mic nights, contribute to many campus events and Music was the founding society for 'SB Fest', a large collaborative event which celebrates all aspects of campus life.
Where will the money go?
All the money raised will contribute toward buying staging for the society.
